You Are My Witnesses

Isaiah 43:10-13 10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. 12 I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God. 13 Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” "You are my witnesses" and again the Lord says "you are my witnesses." I have often heard it said that when something is repeated in the Word of God especially something directly said by God that this means its really, really, really important. "You are my witnesses" of what? As I look at this passage, witnesses of his deity, his power to deliver, his sovereignty and supremacy as the only true God. I wonder does my life give testimony of those things? Do others see in my and in my ministry those things? Today may I just reflect on my witness, today may I find myself intentionally thinking about God and about his power at work in my life.
