This is just some thoughts to hopefully spark some thinking about how awesome Jesus is and how He can impact your life.

Intentional Obedience
Deuteronomy 5:32-33
32 So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. 33 Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
Being careful means being intentional and being intentional means that I purposefully set out to obey God. Do not turn again to me shouts be intentional, purposefully keep your eyes fixed on what is in front of you. Walk in obedience screams intentional, purposeful maybe it will sink in this time of what I am to be doing. For Moses writing this the commands of God were fairly fresh it wasn't long before this that he had been given the commandments. Often Moses with pray to the God and God would speak with him and tell him what He wanted him to do. But like all of us Moses had the ability to choose what he would do or not do. For the most part Moses obeyed sadly though one choice kept him from entering the promise land. That choice not only effected Him but many others as well. I feel that weight of that in my life as I realize the choices I make will and have effected the lives of others especially my family. I want to follow after God and do his will but I must stay close to Him through prayer and studying His word. Then I will be able to know what God's commands are and will know what to obey. God is good and I am amazed that he would even know my name let alone let me serve Him.
Father help me to serve you with all my heart and to intentional obey you with each moment that I have in order to honor and glorify you.
